Calvin Zhu

Calvin is a first year PhD student with the McMaster School of Biomedical Engineering and is co-supervised by Dr. Noseworthy and Dr. Doyle. He has set out on this academic journey with hopes to one day pay forward all the support and mentorship he received throughout the years. Calvin's research focuses on machine learning applications in medical imaging, working towards more trustworthy and explainable algorithms. He loves storytelling and is a self-taught animator, so I he has a habit of seeing everything as an amazing story to tell someday. Then again, aren’t we all just a collection of stories waiting to be told?
