The biological, chemical, electrical, and mechanical principles involved in the design and operation of medical devices and bioprocesses. The engineering research themes of the School of Biomedical Engineering are emphasized: mechanical engineering, biomedical imaging, bioinstrumentation, biomedical technology (e.g. biophotonics and medical robotics)and neurotechnology |
Microprocessor Systems - Winter 2019Undergraduate course, McMaster University, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2018 Introduction to computer organizations; algorithmic state machine design; micro processor based system design including memory and peripheral interfaces; interrupt systems; software development tools; machine-level coding and programming. Three lectures, one tutorial, one lab every other week; second term |
Digital Logic Design - Fall 2018Undergraduate course, McMaster University, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2018 Binary numbers and codes; Boolean algebra; combinational circuit design; electrical properties of logic circuits; sequential circuit design; computer arithmetic; programmable logic; CPU organization and design. |
Engineering Design & Graphics - Fall 2018Undergraduate course, McMaster University, Faculty of Engineering, 2018 This course is about technical design and communication for engineers. Using solid modelling CAD, freehand sketching, and simulation, the course will explore the design of common mechanisms, visualization, the reading and creation of engineering drawings, and technical standards. The course ties these elements together in a group dissect and design project. |
