Parsa Salamatian

Parsa Salamatian is an undergraduate software engineering candidate at McMaster University. His research focuses on designing an XGboost model for predicting the chances of hospital readmissions. As a part of his research, he is also conducting a scoping review on identifying the methods used to measure and quantify human emotion, affect, intention, and what sensing modalities are used in the process, as well as implementing and testing these modalities. Currently, in his second year, Parsa is interested in developing artificial intelligence models to help reduce the current problems in society. In his free time, he enjoys playing chess and following the latest news in technology.
