Email: tucciv1 [ AT ] mcmaster [ DOT ] ca

Victoria Tucci is a Level IV student studying Honours Health Science at McMaster University. Her research focuses on understanding the trust dynamics between medical AI and healthcare expert end-users. She is exploring the factors that influence trust in these technologies and how they compare to established concepts of trust in the engineering discipline. By identifying the factors that influence trust in medical AI, we can gain insight into understanding how autonomous systems can be optimized to improve decision-making support and clinician-machine teaming, as well as facilitate the adoption of AI medical technologies into practice. Victoria is passionate about optimizing patient-centered healthcare delivery, and understanding how to leverage technology to do so; she hopes to pursue a career in medicine in the future. Outside of research and academics, Victoria enjoys hiking and travelling. A fun fact is that she also works to train future astronaut candidates.

Education:
  • Honours Bachelor of Health Science Candidate (HBHSc.)
